Business trip to China, March 24

Business trip to Huangshi, Hubei and Huangshi is about 1.5hours drive from Wuhan.

The direct flight to Wuhan airport from Incheon was canceled just fews days prior to the departure -maybe due to very few passengers? And we were given somewhat inefficient option to arrive at Wuhan, transfering in Beijing. It was unfortunate as the travel time more than doubled. (Incheon-Wuhan 2.5hrs flight vs. 2hrs to Beijing+ transit time at the airport +2hrs to Wuhan).

We were flying with China Southern Airline, surprised to see 3 x 3 seater plane for an international flight.

Take us safe to Beijing 🙏

At the boarding gate at Incheon airport, we were in luck to watch 수문장교대식, how gate keepers changed their shifts in the past in Korea.

While waiting for a connecting flight at Beijing Daxing port (PKX), I tried CoCo bubble tea, it was good! One interesting find that was different to Korean public toilets was the way toilet papers are stored. I thought this was a good design to minimise toilet paper exposure and reduce usage.

Day 1) Finally arrive at Huangshi!

Strong local cigarettes, delicious dinner, beer that I thought was carbonated water.

Fried beef jerkey
Still unsure what vegetable this was but it was so deliciooouusss
Food street entrance

Day 2) getting around Huangshi- local apartments, Chinese strong alcohol, interesting dishes / fast rail from Wuhan – Shanghai

Caged to keep thieves away but also for safety for young children so they don’t fall
Very glad to find Starbucks coffee sold on the train #latte
This is how you make hotpot sauce

Day 3) Shanghai: TimHortons, walking 30,000steps, trying Beijing duck in Shanghai

Tsingtao DRAFT beer was so refeshing, highly recommended 🔥 🔥 🔥
Tanghuru but it did not meet my expectation

Day 4) getting ready to return back to Korea, wooden hotel keycard, hotel breakfast, motorcycles in China
