Chinese Single Serving Coffee Pots

Product Review_Saturnbird Coffee

My colleague brought back this box of coffee pots from china as a souvenir. She knows how addicted I am to coffee, I drink at least two cups daily.

Design: What appealed to me instantly is the design of the capsules, like mini flower pots. I would give 5/5 for the design and packaging, also convenient when travelling. I know there will always be this waste issue with single serving coffees – so the company carries out annual recycling to collect and re-use.

How to use: They are like instant coffees. Just need to add hot water to the powder, they look more like crystal grains, two flavours of ‘Shanghai’ and ‘Beijing’ in a hardboard paper carton. Foil cover inside the cap for sealing and double protection.

Taste: Rather strong coffee, bitter to some degree. I guess I will get used to the taste eventually, good choice to wake me up in the mornings.
